Here's a tip

If you call 911 from a cell phone, and you live on a private road, try to give the dispatcher the correct address. Also, if you give the dispatcher the WRONG address, you are not allowed to bitch about how long it took the ambulance to get there. After all, if I get a wrong address… especially one that’s over 30 blocks away, in a TOTALLY different area of town, its gonna take me a little while to get there!

    That drives me insane. Seriously.

It makes me just as insane when DISPATCH gives us the wrong address and then bitches when it takes us 17 minutes to find the address instead of the five it would have taken had they given us the correct street name.

    So yeah, I getcha. 100%.

I hate when people stand in the living room of a friend or family member's home and use thier cell to call 911 and they don't know the address. "what's the address there…..OK is there a real phone there, don't hang up your cell yet, but call me on THE OTHER PHONE.."
