I received some emails asking questions, and because I’m an upfront kind of guy, here they are.
Q: “I thought you quit radio. Why are messing with that station in Vegas?
A: The money is good and I like getting comped at Vegas hotels.
Q: “Does this mean you’re quitting the dream of becoming a paramedic?”
A: No, but it does mean that I can continue to pay for school.
Q: “Why are you programming a dance station? Do you even like dance music?”
A: Yes, I do like dance music. The Hokey Pokey is an all time fave.
Q: “I heard you just rode with Medic 19 in Redmond. What was that like?”
A: Very enjoyable. I watched several shows featuring Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel. Station 11 has a nice TV room.
Q: “How the hell did you fail the Hare Traction splint skill station?”
A: Ya know, I’m still scratching my head over that one. Let’s just say I’ll have an new partner next time I test.
Q: “How’s Bear?”
A: Behaving like a puppy again. The doc says the cancer is gone. He’s in pretty good shape for a 13 year old dog.
Q: “What your most difficult class this quarter?”
A: They’re all difficult for different reasons. The EMT class is difficult because I get mad at myself when I make stupid mistakes. A&P is difficult because its all memorization. The coordinated studies is difficult because it’s a LOT of reading and writing. (And when I say lot, I mean a metric shitload!)
Thanks for all of the notes… Check back next time for more Q&A.
